The material strategy prioritises durability and ease of maintenance, combining fibre cement cladding and BAL-29–rated resilient systems with carefully placed timber accents for warmth and contrast
Breathe House is conceived as more than a fixed design, offering a flexible framework for high-performance living that balances practicality with architectural ambition. Developed as part of a collaborative initiative with Two Hammers Construction, it is intentionally pre-designed to make well-considered, resilient homes more accessible across the South West. Capable of meeting Passive House standards if pursued, the design prioritises durability, comfort, and spatial clarity, allowing it to adapt and expand over time - from a compact retreat to a generous family home - without losing its sense of calm or coherence.
